4. Flap design and suturing for bone augmentation surgery in the esthetic zone.

CONNECTIVE TISSUE GRAFTING

Success in grafting with connective tissue depends greatly on the flap design, the release of the tissue for coronal advancement and the suturing. You will learn the formula for success with autogenous soft tissue graft taught by an oral surgeon who is also a specialist in periodontics.

PERIODONTAL REGENERATION SURGERY

Teeth with vertical bone defects can be grafted to be saved. The success depends on the type of defect but also greatly on the flap design, bone graft condensation, membrane and suturing. You will learn the keys to success with this procedure taught by a periodontist

ESTHETIC ZONE BONE AUGMENTATION

The esthetic zone is trick and in order to achieve the right volume, you need a predictable way to contain the graft with a membrane that is stabilized with sutures. You will learn this technique and the keys to successful augmentation taught by a periodontist.

SUTURING FOR ORAL SURGERY PROCEDURES

Oral surgery involves exodontia, bone grafting, sinus lifting and nerve repositioning procedures and each requires a different flap approach and suturing technique. You will learn the approaches needed for success in oral surgery taught by an oral and maxillofacial surgeon.

FLAP DESIGN AND SUTURING FOR IMPLANT SURGERY

Implants are anchored in bone for integration but need good soft tissue quality, stability for esthetics and long term success. You will learn the various flap designs and suturing techniques for implant success taught by a periodontist.
